Questions
Common questions
Do I need an appointment?
You can walk in during opening hours. Calling ahead at (905) 272-0303 helps us tell you the best time to come.
Is there a cost?
There is no fee for the assessment when you show a valid Ontario health card. If a medication is prescribed, the usual cost of the medication applies, unless it is covered by your drug plan. If you do not have an Ontario health card, ask us about fees before your assessment.
What should I bring?
Your Ontario health card, and a list of the medications and supplements you take, or the containers themselves.
Can I be assessed for my child?
Some conditions, such as diaper rash and impetigo, commonly affect children. Age limits apply to some conditions, so call first and we will confirm.
What if a pharmacist can't treat my condition?
If treatment at the pharmacy is not appropriate, the pharmacist will explain why and refer you to a doctor, nurse practitioner or emergency care.
