Expired or unused medications can be returned to the pharmacy for safe disposal, free of charge. Needles and other sharps need a separate sharps container. Ask us for one.

What is a MedsCheck?
MedsCheck is an Ontario program for a one-on-one review with a pharmacist of all the medications you take, including over-the-counter medicines, vitamins and supplements.
Who qualifies for a MedsCheck?
People who have a chronic condition and take 3 or more prescription medications for it, or who are living with type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
What should I bring to my medication review?
Bring all your medications, including vitamins and supplements, or a complete list.
Can I return expired medications?
Yes. You can return expired or unused medications to the pharmacy for safe disposal, free of charge. Needles and other sharps need a separate sharps container.
